What a finished campaign page looks like

What your campaign page can do

Progress at a glance

A progress bar and a drawing of the prayer places show the confirmed donation total. Only amounts your treasurer has confirmed as received are counted.

Easier bank transfers

A QR code for banking apps (EPC/GiroCode, supported by many European banks), copy buttons for IBAN, amount and reference, and short instructions for anyone transferring on the same phone. Your association's PayPal link can be added too.

Prayer places or any amount

Members can sponsor one or more prayer places or give an amount of their choice. No sign-up needed. Names are only shown on the campaign page with explicit consent.

In your community's languages

Currently in German, Turkish and Arabic, each with its own link for your WhatsApp groups. English, French, Bosnian, Indonesian or Urdu on request.

Share the link, put up the notice

WhatsApp button, ready-made message and a printable notice with QR codes, plus a text for the announcement after Friday prayer.

Trust through openness

Association name, account holder, budget, news from the committee and clear answers about what happens if the target is missed or exceeded.

How it works – in five steps

  1. Send a request

    Tell us you would like a campaign page. Your committee should have approved the fundraising campaign.

  2. Gather the details

    Association name, account holder and IBAN, the treasurer's email, donation target, number of prayer places, duration, photos and a short text. Your imam can choose verses or hadiths if you wish.

  3. Check and approve

    We set up the page. The committee checks all details, especially the IBAN, and approves the page in writing.

  4. Share

    You receive a link for each language and the notice. Send the link to your groups and announce the campaign after Friday prayer.

  5. Update the total

    Your treasurer checks incoming donations against the bank statement and sends us the confirmed total. We update the page promptly.

Donations go straight to your association

Donations are made only by bank transfer or via the association's PayPal account, directly to your community. mosque-carpet.com never receives any money, never sees account activity and does not issue donation receipts – that remains the association's responsibility.

About PayPal: please use only an account belonging to the association – no private accounts and not "Friends and Family".

  • We do not process payments and charge no fees for the campaign page.
  • The QR code contains only your bank details, the amount and the reference.
  • No cookies and no advertising trackers on the campaign page.
  • Donors' names appear only with explicit consent and never with amounts.

Frequently asked questions

What does the campaign page cost?
Nothing. We provide it free of charge to mosque communities, even if you buy your carpet elsewhere. If you like, we can also prepare a non-binding quote for the carpet.
Does the money go through mosque-carpet.com?
No. Donors transfer directly to your association's account: by QR code, with the copied IBAN or via the association's PayPal account. We see neither payments nor donors' bank details.
How does the donation total get onto the page?
Your treasurer checks the donations received and sends us the confirmed total. We update the page on that basis. Pledges are not included in the displayed total.
Will we know who wants to donate?
Anyone who wants to be named or to report a pledge fills in a short, voluntary form. The pledge is emailed to your treasurer with a reference number that also appears in the payment reference. The form is not needed to donate.
Are donors' names published?
Only if the person has explicitly consented and the association has confirmed receipt of the donation. The amount is never published with the name. Without consent, no name appears on the campaign page.
Can we issue donation receipts?
That is decided and handled by your association alone, and depends among other things on its charitable status in your country. Please check with your adviser.
Which languages is the page available in?
Always in German, plus Turkish and Arabic. We can set up English, French, Bosnian, Indonesian or Urdu on request. Each language has its own link.
What happens after the campaign ends?
The page shows the final total and a thank-you to the community; bank details and the form are hidden. On request we take the page offline completely.
